Fine Lines and Wrinkles

Fine lines and wrinkles develop in the skin as a consequence of cumulative sun damage and intrinsic skin ageing. Loss of skin elasticity and a reduction in the volume of facial fat combined with the effects of gravity lead to deeper skin folds and wrinkles.

BOTOX® is used to soften the action and reduce the tone of those muscles of facial expression which cause wrinkles especially in the frown line and smile lines around the eyes.

Filler injections such as Restylane, Hydrafill, Evolence and Radiesse can be used to soften nose to mouth lines and other facial folds as well as improve finer wrinkles and lines, particularly around the mouth.

Sculptra injections restore volume to the face giving a more youthful appearance to the cheeks and softening folds and wrinkles especially around the mouth.

Fractional laser resurfacing is an exciting new development and provides a safe alternative to older resurfacing proceedures such as CO2 or Erbium laser resurfacing.
